Te'Ericka Kimbrough LCSW

Co-Founder & Executive Director

We each have a unique journey in this world, but we do not have to travel alone. Life can sometimes throw us off course and challenge our ability to maintain happiness and fulfillment. My goal is to be a supportive aid to individuals during these difficult times by use of professional therapeutic knowledge and most importantly, through partnership, shared compassion, hope, and belief in the person’s ability to remember how incredibly capable they are.

Clinical Approaches: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychotherapy and CBT. Experience working with Trauma, Anxiety, PTSD, Depression, Stress Management, Grief & Loss, Social Emotional Skill Training, Domestic Violence, Individual and group therapy, and LGBTQIA+ youth.

I help children, adults, and families to find self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and health in relationships, and provide them with supportive empowerment as they take back control of their lives.

Jessica Key LPC

Co-Founder & Clinical Director

Life can be challenging, and I am here to help you navigate through it. Welcome! I’m Jessica Key, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate their mental health journey with compassion and expertise. With four years of post-graduate experience, including three years as an independently licensed professional, I am dedicated to providing effective, client-centered therapy.

My approach to therapy is grounded in a blend of evidence-based modalities, tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual. I believe in creating a safe, empathetic space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors. By addressing these cognitive distortions, we work together to develop healthier thinking patterns and coping strategies.

DBT is a key part of my practice, especially for clients dealing with intense emotions and relationship issues. Through DBT, we focus on building skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.

ACT helps clients embrace their thoughts and feelings rather than fighting against them. We work on increasing psychological flexibility and aligning actions with personal values to enhance overall well-being.

I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship as a catalyst for change. By providing unconditional positive regard, empathy, and authenticity, I support clients in exploring their self-concept and achieving personal growth.

Motivational Interviewing: is particularly useful in helping clients find and enhance their motivation for change. Together, we explore ambivalence and build a strong foundation for setting and achieving personal goals.

For clients dealing with past trauma, I offer specialized support to process and heal from these experiences. My approach is gentle and trauma-informed, ensuring that therapy is both effective and respectful of each client's pace and needs.

When you work with me, you can expect a collaborative and goal-oriented therapeutic process. I am dedicated to creating an environment where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My aim is to help you develop practical skills, gain insights, and achieve meaningful progress in your mental health journey.

I am licensed in Wisconsin and will soon be licensed in Illinois, offering flexibility to accommodate clients’ needs. While I only speak English, my commitment to providing supportive and personalized care remains unwavering.
Thank you for considering me as a partner in your journey towards healing and growth. I look forward to the opportunity to work together.
